Аbout the performance

Duration of the performance is 3 hours with one intermission. Age restriction 12+

The main characters of the novel are two young men and a girl who falls in love with one man (Oblomov) but marries another (Stolz)… Although the story is fraught with romance, nevertheless the love story is not the main theme of the novel. The author is looking for an answer to what the main purpose of human life is. What is the goal, “raison d’etre” for each of us?

The riddle of the novel “Oblomov” is especially acute nowadays, when we live in the times of so called “freelance”, distant communications and neurotic thinking.
We invite our spectators to look at the “theatrical mirror” to get better understanding of their own selves, their inner circle and set free their own thoughts and emotions.
